Commercial leisure uses, including hotels, now face the same stringent tests which have faced retail development for many years.  If out of centre, they require assessments of need, application of the sequential approach to site selection and considerations of impact.
 
Sanderson Weatherall's planning team has wide-ranging experience of carrying out these assessments in support of commercial leisure schemes, including hotels and major conference and leisure facilities.  The role that these uses can play in major regeneration schemes and mixed use developments can be particularly significant.
